The strike covers flights departing from Frankfurt on Tuesday and Munich on Wednesday. The work stoppage will start at 4 a.m. and end at 11 p.m. on both days.

According to UFO Leader Joachim Vázquez Bürger, the background of the strike is Lufthansa's record results.

Regarding the reasons for the strike, Joachim Vázquez Bürger said that the cabin crew should also share in this success and be rewarded for their efforts during the epidemic.

The strike is one of several announced or carried out in the German transport sector in recent weeks. Lufthansa's ground staff and employees of the state railway company Deutsche Bahn also went on strike periodically.
